Rock Steady Mountaineering
Rock Steady is a small mountaineering business in the English Lake District. It is owned and run by Kurtis Walker who specializes in Navigation courses and Hill Walking activities. Rock Steady caters for all levels of ability from the complete novice, to the experienced mountaineer wanting to brush up on some navigation skills .
Our Friendly and professional approach to the courses along with a personal touch that provides a safe fun environment in which you can enjoy all that the beautiful Lake District has to offer. All our activities are provided by fully qualified mountain leaders, instructors or guides. All are competent and patient allowing you to go at your own pace and will be very flexible rather than adhering to rigid schedules, planning the days activities around you.
Rock Steady is a member of MLTA ( Mountain Leader Training Association)
Rock Steady prides itself on its friendly yet professional approach to outdoor
activities. Rock Steady is an approved provider of the National Navigation
Award Scheme (NNAS) and can offer training courses and assessments to meet
the needs of individuals and organisations. Training and assessment
courses are offered at Bronze and Silver level and training can be
provided for the Gold syllabus subject to external assessment.
