Rock Steady offer a 2 day course for complete beginners. The course is also suitable for those with some experience, who recognizes their limitations and wishes to improve their performance. On the course you be able to spend plenty of time learning the basics and improving your confidence over the 2 day period
The course will provide a firm foundation and a set of skills you will have for years to come and be able to enjoy your own walks and be able to navigate around the mountains and hills safely

The advantage of this 2 day course has over the 1 day is that you have time to put into practice what you have learnt over the 2 days and improve on your personal skills and also your confidence

What is the NNAS?
The National Navigation Award Scheme is a nationally recognised structure for the provision of navigation training courses. It is arranged into 3 levels, Bronze, Silver and Gold. This course covers the Silver award which covers more open country techniques such as contour interpretation, distance judgement and good compass use
